Restorative Services

We offer a variety of restorative services such as: fillings, inlays and onlays, root canal therapy, crown and bridgework, dentures, mini-implants, standard implants, and implant-supported crown and bridgework to name a few.

Fillings, Inlays, and Onlays

Direct or indirect fillings are required when tooth decay has eroded natural tooth structure. We use a variety of materials to restore teeth such as: composite(white filling material) or amalgam (silver filling material) to restore teeth directly and ceramic and/or gold inlays or onlays to restore teeth indirectly. Various factors determine which material is best and each material has advantages and potential disadvantages. If a direct or indirect filling has been recommended to provide you with optimum oral health, please feel free to ask any of our team members for further details.

Crown and Bridgework

A crown, sometimes referred to as a cap, is an artificial “protective shell” that is cemented onto the damaged or decayed tooth after some preliminary preparatory work. Crowns are fabricated out of various materials. The ideal material ultimately depends on the location of the tooth. Crown strengthen compromised teeth and can be made to look like natural teeth when necessary.

A Before & After of one of our Crown Cases:

This patient wanted a brighter / more aesthetically pleasing smile. Teeth whitening & several crowns provided her with the desired result.

If a tooth is non-restorable or missing, it is important to replace it with an artificial tooth as soon as possible. Doing so will prevent the problems mentioned on the root canal therapy page (i.e. drifiting, oral hygiene challenges, and potential jaw- related problems). A bridge, sometimes referred to as a “fixed bridge” or a “fixed prosthesis,” can replace one or more missing teeth. It is cemented to existing teeth and/or implants adjacent to the area that has no teeth.

Bridges, like crowns, can be made to look like natural teeth and location and function play determining roles in terms of material composition as well.
